Europe was the very first continent I traveled to. It is the perfect place to plan your very first solo trip. Whether you're on a budget or treating yourself to a boujee vacation, there are destinations to suit all travel styles and budgets.

Europe is a well-trodden continent meaning it is super accommodating to tourists. You will have little to no problem with language barriers, getting around, and finding scrumptious local food.

Some of my favorite things I did on my first trip to Europe included seeing the best sunrise in the world in Santorini, skydiving over the Swiss Alps, visiting the most Instagrammable castle in Europe and wandering the cobblestone streets of Edinburgh. Don't forget to add the often-overlooked gems of Eastern Europe to your itinerary. Such as the most romantic lake in Europeand Dracula's castle in Transylvania.
